Education in Japan & the world
Yo guys,
Last time we talked about education and the differences between Japanese schools compared to other countires. When it comes to Bulgarian education at a fundamental level is the same as the Japanese one. You have 12 grades in total from elemetary up until high school and then after that you go to university. I think most coutries work like that so it is not that surprising.
One of the distinctions is that, as in every regard, Japanese people HUSTLE. Like if I had to compare their study load with the one I have back home I would fold under pressure (and I never do that). It is so much that I have seen students sleep at Kindai during the evening. I have the uncomfortable feeling that if I do that in Bulgaria, first of all, I am gonna get robbed by my fellow students and then kicked out, because the school is closing (I am joking the crime rate in Eastern Europe is low contrary to popular belief 😌😌).
Yeah to be honest in high school I passed every class by cheating on most exams (yes, unforgivable crime). In a lot of the schools back home it is easy to do even in some unis, but of course you also have very tough ones. In Japan - probably not going to work, I suppose? Which is good. Dont cheat.

Cram schools... Yes, cram schools. I actually never heard of that thing in my life. So, I checked if we have it back home and no, not really. We have private tutors mostly that do one on one sessions with students, but they are certainly not nessessary if you want to get into a good school. From what I got in class if you are Japanese and you want to study in a top university in the country you HAVE to go to cram school otherwise you have 1% chance of getting in. And that is certainly not the case for Bulgaria. In high school everything I did was self study and I got a good enough diploma for most universities in the the EU.
I do not have a lot to add about the video. It looked like a normal day in the day of a student. Very similiar to the ones in Bulgaria or The Netherlands. Only thing I can say is if i go to the library to study with my friends for an exam, we procrastinate the whole session and just yap. I definitely prefer to study alone.
Well, this was everything from me for this topic. I hope Mr. Lafleur lets us pass this class 🙏🙏.

I know you cheated on the tests because you don’t have the proper education to get this far. Well written post with good comparisons so Sensei please let him pass before he starts cheating
